2013 Human Trafficking Awareness Month: An Evening of Education
The Blake Hotel
This event has already passed by. Sorry.
Event Description
Did you know that human trafficking and sex slavery was the 2nd largest illicit business in the world bringing in over 32 billion dollars in revenue per year? Did you also know it happens in our own backyard and not just in other countries?
Come join us on January 19th at the Blake Hotel for an evening of cocktails (an open premium bar) and a 3 course plated meal with plenty of hors d'oeuvres to learn about this underground industry that gets ignored but desperately needs attention.
We will go into trafficking locally, in the United States, and globally. From statistics, economics of the issue, case studies and real stories of girls, to ways you can help. What if this was your daughter, sister, niece, or friend?
Skip your Ruth Chris Saturday dinner and drinks and have dinner and drinks with a purpose.
